News in Guyana continues to amuse and amaze
NEWS in Guyana continues to amuse and amaze readers. Politicians
suddenly
see the end of Justice, because Mr. Lall has not yet been suspended,
charged
or possible dismissed as he obviously deserves. The former First Lady is
encountering unnecessary and arbitrary treatment that cannot be
justified
until legal divorce papers are filed.
A letter writer wrote what appears to be common to Guyana, an
informative
piece on Guyana's forests, mixed with a certain negativity and scorn.
I may
be wrong, but I did not get the impression that the government intended
to
only sit back and demand money for standing forests. Never the less, he
makes good points. Unfortunately, information is better received if not
served with bias or disdain. Government needs more constructive
criticism,
better information and ideas than rhetoric.
